Due to outdated building techniques, this ceiling had developed mould from the outside in. The solution here was to seal the existing sheets with a stain blocking product, glue and screw new gib over the top into the existing batons, plaster and paint. The process transformed the room as much more light bounces off the newly finished ceiling.
